Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana observed Vigilance Awareness week from 31.10.2016 to 05.11.2016 as directed by CBSE. First a brief overview of the theme was given exercising a major influence regarding the celebration of vigilance awareness week an endeavor to promote transparency, probity and integrity.
Slogan writing and Poster Making Competitions were conducted for the students of VI-VIII classes themed on eradicating corruption and for setting all to be rational and vigilant.
Elocution on promoting integrity that ensures the prosperity of nation stressed on the urgent need of entire unification at every level of functioning.In Essay writing on E-Governance as an effective tool to curb corruption Muskan Maithani focused on transparency on the part of government, students took it as an effective way of making democracy workable in real sense by making all more vigil. All the school staff pledged to work unstintingly for eradication of corruption in all spheres of life.
In Slogan Writing Competition the performance of Sneha, Nishtha and Arshdeep got high applause and in Poster Making Competition artistic intelligence of Ramandeep and Anishka went for high admiration.
Principal Mrs. Neelam Mittar encouraged the students to expand their consciousness in every direction and termed vigilance week as a wonderful tool for disseminating of awareness and sensitizing all regarding the ill effects of corruption.
